About the role#
Leerink Partners is hiring an Equity Research Intern for a ten-week program during the summer of 2027. This role is based in our New York office and requires a full-time commitment. Interns work alongside our research professionals to support our focus on the healthcare sector. We are looking for students in their junior year who are interested in a potential transition to a full-time role in July 2028.
What you'll do#
- Collect and evaluate financial and statistical data related to the economy and healthcare stocks.
- Build and maintain pro forma financial models, including revenue forecasts and income statements.
- Prepare reports, investment recommendations, and data sets for the firm.
- Analyze research findings to present trends and business opportunities.
- Observe interviews with industry leaders and company executives to build your knowledge base.
- Maintain and update internal company databases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program as a junior (Class of 2028).
- Experience building pro forma financial models.
- A strong interest in the stock market and healthcare equity research.
- Ability to synthesize complex data and explain your findings clearly.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Some academic or job-related exposure to the healthcare industry is preferred.

- Compensation: $110,000 (pro-rated for the ten-week duration).
