About the role#
Leerink Partners offers a ten-week Summer Analyst Program for students in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies. This program places you within a full-service investment bank that focuses on growth and innovation in the healthcare and life science sectors. You will work alongside full-time banking professionals to support various M&A and public equity transactions. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity for the summer of 2028.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the preparation of client presentations and transaction-related materials.
- Prepare valuation and financial model analyses.
- Review business plans, conduct research, and analyze financial statements.
- Perform due diligence processes.
- Gain direct exposure to live deals and major transactions.
- Interact with the senior banking team.
What you'll need#
- You are on track to complete an undergraduate degree in May 2029 with an exemplary academic record.
- Preference is given to those with a concentration or experience in Finance, Accounting, or Life Sciences.
- Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in financial accounting, modeling, and market research.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail.
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively across all levels.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- An intellectually curious, motivated, and energetic approach to your work.
