About the role#
LCG Advisors is hiring a Finance Intern to join our team in Tampa. This is a paid, full-time internship that requires on-site attendance. We are looking for individuals who have a genuine interest in building a career in finance and want to work closely with senior management.
What you'll do#
You will support our business valuation team by preparing valuations for clients seeking small business loans. Your daily work includes analyzing financial statements and tax returns, then formatting that data into our internal templates. You will also perform industry research, update our existing models, and help streamline internal processes. You will work directly with senior leaders and interact professionally with your teammates on a daily basis.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's, MS, or MBA in Finance or Accounting.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Intermediate skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical skills and a desire to learn.
- Ability to multitask and work with limited supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort working under pressure as part of a small team.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Tampa, Florida.
- Work is performed on-site.
- You must be able to sit at a desk for long periods and lift up to 15 pounds.
- We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position.
