About the role#
As a Financial Planning and Analysis intern, you will build and maintain financial models used for the annual financial plan and budgeting. You will research and develop projections based on various economic scenarios. You will work on real projects that contribute to the business and help teams deliver results.
What you'll do#
- Analyze budgets and financial plans while monitoring results against these plans.
- Assist with the budgeting process, including staffing intentions, expense plans, and loan pricing.
- Partner with teammates and leaders across the associations to understand business drivers.
- Prepare and present management reports that include variance analyses and key performance indicators.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to make recommendations for improvement.
- Provide ad hoc financial analyses to support strategy development and what-if scenarios.
- Help prepare presentation materials for directors, management committees, and senior leadership.
- Work with finance and pricing teams to understand current trends and results.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Omaha, Nebraska.
- The term is scheduled for Summer 2027.
