About the role#
As a Corporate Accounting Specialist Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting financial and regulatory reporting. You will help ensure reports are accurate and compliant with GAAP, FCA regulations, and internal policies. You will work within a collaborative team to support strategic initiatives and improve reporting processes.
What you'll do#
- Assist with first-line reviews of monthly financial statements, board reports, and shareholder reports.
- Prepare and review general ledger balance sheet reconciliations while researching and resolving discrepancies.
- Complete variance, materiality, and ad hoc analyses of financial results.
- Support AgriBank information requests and CoBank Frontier CMR reporting.
- Assist with FCA Call Reports and supporting schedules.
- Perform analysis to support annual patronage programs.
- Recommend process improvements and updates to financial reporting systems.
- Support internal and external audit activities, including documentation and fraud-control initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Business, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to collaborate with others and manage multiple priorities.
- A focus on identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Availability for a 12-week internship during the summer of 2027.
