About the role#
The Technical Design Co-op program offers a path for students to work alongside experienced designers. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to the development of products across various categories, including women’s, men’s, kids’, and accessories. This role provides mentorship and exposure to the business functions that support a global retail model.
What you'll do#
- Develop products by providing input on color, fabrication, and silhouettes.
- Create and maintain design books and journals based on trend analysis and market research.
- Support visual setups and presentations to communicate design concepts.
- Conduct competitor research to inform design strategy.
- Participate in product fittings and analyze returns to improve future designs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for apparel design, graphic design, industrial design, architecture, art, media studies, or a related field.
- Understanding of textile construction, color theory, and printing techniques.
- Basic skills in fit and pattern making.
- Passion for current fashion, emerging trends, and the Lands’ End brand.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different work styles.

- This position is located on-site in Dodgeville, Wisconsin.
- This is a full-time, paid co-op position with a rolling term.
