About the role#
Purple is looking for a Public Relations Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 semester. This role provides experience in brand communications, influencer marketing, and product placement within the luxury and contemporary fashion industry. You will work directly with our in-house PR team to support seasonal initiatives and daily showroom operations.
What you'll do#
- Manage sample trafficking, including check-ins, check-outs, packaging, and inventory tracking.
- Support influencer and VIP gifting by coordinating shipments and tracking deliveries.
- Monitor social media and digital platforms to identify brand mentions, press coverage, and influencer content.
- Research industry trends, media contacts, and potential talent for future partnerships.
- Prepare weekly and monthly press reports and internal recaps.
- Maintain and update internal databases for stylists, influencers, and partners.
- Assist with showroom appointments, fittings, event logistics, and brand activations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, with eligibility to receive academic credit.
- Ability to work on-site in New York City 2-3 days per week.
- Availability for the full Fall 2026 semester, from September to December.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A clear interest in fashion PR, influencer marketing, and media.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Launchmetrics is helpful.

- Compensation: This is an unpaid internship for students receiving academic credit. A daily lunch stipend is provided for days worked on-site.
