About the role#
This is a 16 month co-op term, with 12 month terms occasionally available. You will work within the embedded software team to support both new and existing product designs.
What you'll do#
- Support the embedded software team with product design tasks.
- Validate, test, and debug new and existing designs.
- Investigate and analyze products to recommend improvements for reliability, performance, and cost reductions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university program for Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Knowledge of embedded C and C++ programming.
- Experience using Python for scripting.
- Understanding of real time operating systems and multi-threaded real time code.
- Understanding of embedded systems design involving both hardware and software.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and principles.
- Familiarity with standard test equipment including oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and signal generators.
- Strong mathematical, analysis, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- A self-starter mindset.
