About the role#
We are looking for a Software Developer Student to join our Robotics and Space Operations team in Brampton. This is a full-time, paid position starting in January 2027 for a 12-16 month term.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of software for ground and flight systems.
- Document and communicate your design plans to the team.
- Review the work of your peers and participate in task estimation efforts.
- Provide feedback to help improve our coding standards, tools, and internal processes.
- Learn new technical skills and take on development tasks to broaden your experience.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your team lead.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- You have intermediate programming knowledge in one or more of the following: C, C++, C#, Typescript, Angular, or React.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
- A positive, motivated, and enthusiastic mindset.
- Experience with Test Driven Development, Agile development, Continuous Integration, or embedded development is an asset.
- You must be able to obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level and pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program.

- This role is based on-site in Brampton, Ontario.
- The term runs for 12-16 months starting in Winter 2027.
