About the role#
L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Systems Engineering Intern in Plano, Texas. This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship. The schedule follows a 9/80 format, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concept of operations, design, and implementation plans.
- Analyze system requirements from users and end systems.
- Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
- Create test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Run tests and document your findings.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware or software troubleshooting to solve problems.
- Present design activity plans and status updates to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university.
- Coursework or experience in systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration, or project management.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
