About the role#
This is a paid, full-time mechanical engineering internship. You will work on-site in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The schedule follows a 9/80 format, meaning you work 80 hours over nine days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development.
- Assist with factory support for existing products.
- Collaborate with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
- Generate and process engineering change orders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor, master, or PhD program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or Materials Science Engineering.
- Exposure to CAD or Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
- Practical experience in the design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms.
