About the role#
As a Logistics Intern at L3Harris Technologies, you will assist in the movement of materials, records, and parts for our programs. You will report to the Logistics Manager and perform a mix of manual, clerical, and data analysis tasks to support our operations in Waco, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Handle receiving, movement, storage, inventory tracking, disbursement, packaging, and shipping of electronics, materials, and equipment.
- Provide help desk support via telephone for vital equipment, including troubleshooting and fault isolation.
- Analyze technical data, failure analysis reports, and manufacturing notices to make recommendations on system sparing and repair cycles.
- Receive, document, and store parts throughout the repair cycle.
- Manage supply support tasks such as material research, ordering, warranty tracking, and transport.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Logistics or Business Administration.
- Experience or certification as an instructor or trainer.
- Familiarity with logistics practices, processes, tools, and metrics.
- Previous experience in logistics support.
Location & details#
- Location: Waco, Texas.
- Schedule: This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
- Work schedule: The 9/80 schedule includes working 80 hours over 9 days, with every other Friday off.
