About the role#
As a Systems Engineering intern, you will support the development and evaluation of complex system designs. This role involves working on operational analysis and creating implementation plans for various projects. You will be based on-site in Herndon, Virginia.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and develop concepts of operation.
- Analyze system requirements provided by end systems and users.
- Support the development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
- Conduct tests and document your findings.
- Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design status and activity plans.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware troubleshooting.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering, or in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or Aviation.
- Coursework or experience in systems engineering.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
- Experience with systems architecture.
- Knowledge of system performance modeling.
Location & details#
- Location: Herndon, Virginia.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
- Compensation: $25.50 to $48.00 per hour.
