About the role#
L. Fournier & Fils is looking for a student to join the team as an intern. This is a full-time, paid position based in Val-d'Or, Quebec. We offer internships for the Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027 terms. You will work on-site, with various shift schedules available such as 21/7, 14/14, or 7/7. The company provides housing, meals, personal protective equipment, and necessary computer hardware.
What you'll do#
You will support project managers in their daily tasks and act as a liaison between the administrative team and active construction sites. Your responsibilities include:
- Maintaining contact with subcontractors and clients.
- Assisting the design team with operational planning.
- Compiling production data and timesheets.
- Creating tracking documents in Excel.
- Supporting monthly billing processes.
- Formatting documents and writing reports.
- Managing the project site closing process, including preparing technical documents for clients.
- Collaborating with managers, the estimation department, finance, and procurement teams.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for civil, mining, or construction engineering.
- Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Relevant experience in construction or mining project administration is an asset.
- Experience working in changing work environments is an asset.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
Location & details#
This internship is located in Val-d'Or, Quebec. The position is on-site and full-time. Travel arrangements or transportation by plane are provided depending on the specific project site.
