About the role#
PCL Construction is hiring an Engineering Student for our Canadian Industrial Division. You will work with our Construction Engineering team at our head office in Edmonton. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Create and maintain process documentation for various department functions.
- Identify ways to improve existing business applications and processes.
- Work with the procedure team to ensure final products meet business requirements.
- Coordinate with department representatives to resolve procedural and documentation issues.
- Train users on how to use PCL procedures effectively.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- A strong desire to work in a construction environment.
- You are self-motivated and have a multi-discipline mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
- Prior field construction experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is an asset.

- Location: Edmonton, Alberta.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (4, 8, or 12 months starting in January 2027).
