About the role#
As an intern in the Expert Services practice, you will work with experienced professionals on forensic accounting, valuation, and dispute consulting engagements. You will receive guidance from your team while gaining exposure to real-world business and legal matters. This role involves supporting client projects through data analysis, research, and the preparation of expert materials.
What you'll do#
- Support engagement teams in preparing forensic accounting analyses, financial models, and business valuations.
- Research and analyze financial, accounting, and business information.
- Assist in the development of damages claims and other financial calculations.
- Organize, reconcile, and analyze financial records and large data sets to identify trends.
- Gather information from client materials and approved research sources.
- Contribute to workpapers, expert reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Review analyses and reports for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial-statement analysis.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
- A collaborative and proactive approach.

- Compensation: $30 to $40 per hour.
