    About the role#

    The Trade and Customs intern joins our team to gain experience in transfer pricing, trade, and customs. You will help companies comply with international regulations, optimize supply chains, and manage tariff exposure. This role involves working on financial and statistical analysis for a diverse client base, including Fortune 500 companies and government organizations.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct financial customs and tariff analyses.
    • Classify goods using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
    • Assess duties, taxes, and trade program eligibility.
    • Perform global and country-specific industry research.
    • Interview client executive leadership teams to gather operational insights.
    • Prepare and submit import and export documentation.
    • Monitor import and export activity to ensure audit readiness.
    • Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders to resolve cross-border issues.
    • Write client reports and prepare industry articles.

    What you'll need#

    • Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or Management.
    • Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
    • Minimum major GPA of 3.2.
    • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
    • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to manage time and handle multiple assignments.

    • Location: New York, New York, United States.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $20 to $35 per hour.
    • Status: Paid, full-time internship.
