About the role#
The Kroger Spring Internship Program is a 12-week full-time immersive experience. This role focuses on continuous improvement within our supply chain operations. You will work on projects, gain exposure to senior leaders, and participate in professional development. The program runs from January 11th to April 23rd, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple supply chain projects and meet established timelines.
- Conduct supply chain analysis and document best practices.
- Assist in creating process improvement projects.
- Partner with teams to elicit, analyze, and deliver supply chain solutions.
- Communicate project status, identify risks, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Seek out and recommend new project opportunities.
- Complete a cumulative project and present your findings to the executive team or management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Transportation, Retail Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, Operations Management, or other related fields.
- Work authorization that does not require sponsorship.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
