About the role#
KPMG Canada is seeking undergraduate students in Business Administration or Accounting to join the Private Enterprise Core Services team for a full-time internship during Summer 2027. This practice supports entrepreneurs, family businesses, privately-held companies, and high net worth individuals. You will gain experience across various service areas, with tasks tailored to your background and interests.
What you'll do#
- Assist senior staff with compilation and review engagements.
- Identify and resolve accounting and tax issues.
- Prepare personal, corporate, and trust tax returns, along with partnership, payroll, and investment information returns.
- Develop technical accounting and tax skills.
- Manage file workflow and present completed work to managers or partners.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate Business or Accounting program.
- A strong academic record.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve personal and professional success.
- Curiosity regarding emerging practices and technologies.
- Passion for community involvement.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled tools or analytics platforms is considered an asset.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with an expected base salary range of $41,000 to $65,000, and it may be eligible for bonus awards.
