About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience within the industrial machinery manufacturing process. You will work alongside experienced engineers to build professional skills and contribute to ongoing projects at Kovalus Separation Solutions.
What you'll do#
- Assist in product or system design under the guidance of a staff engineer.
- Analyze product specifications and equipment performance requirements to identify potential design improvements.
- Prepare system layouts, detailed drawings, and schematics.
- Develop equipment manuals, owner documentation, and spare parts lists.
- Support various engineering projects as assigned by your supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures when operating machinery and maintain an organized work area.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university degree program for drafting or engineering.
- Ability to follow safety protocols while working with machinery.
- Willingness to travel for 10-15% of the time.
- Relevant majors include Mechanical, Computer, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
