About the role#
Kovalus Separation Solutions is hiring a Drafting Intern to gain practical experience in the manufacturing process. This role supports our engineering team by helping prepare project plans and technical documentation. It is a paid, full-time position that offers flexible work arrangements including on-site, hybrid, or remote options.
What you'll do#
- Use computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software to prepare project plans.
- Convert rough sketches and engineering specifications into formal drawings.
- Assemble and submit drawing packets to the relevant departments.
- Produce written communications and project documentation.
- Help the drafting team with daily operations and special projects.
- Maintain an organized workspace and follow all safety protocols.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university degree program related to drafting or engineering. Relevant majors include Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Ability to travel 10-15% of the time.
Location & details#
- Location: Willmar, Minnesota.
- Schedule: Rolling term.
- Compensation: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour.
