As a Fall Retail Management Intern at KnitWell Group, you will serve as a key team member supporting store leadership. You will gain hands-on experience in retail operations, focusing on delivering personalized customer service and developing team engagement. This role is designed to provide exposure to store management functions, preparing you to assist with daily operations and leadership tasks.
What you'll do#
- Model personalized customer experience behaviors and represent the brand.
- Assist store leaders with onboarding and developing an effective, engaged team.
- Foster an inclusive store environment where associates feel welcome.
- Maintain high visual and operational standards with a focus on customer needs.
- Utilize store tools to drive a customer-focused environment and support business profitability.
- Provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching to help associates improve customer interactions.
- Collaborate with the store manager to learn store functions and step into management duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
- Proficiency with technology and the ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
- Strong interest in communicating, coaching, and building productive team relationships.
- Ability to organize, delegate, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Initiative in making thoughtful, independent decisions.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- 6 months of retail sales experience and previous management experience are preferred.
