About the role#
The Mechanical Engineer Intern supports the new product development team by providing project assistance and technical feedback. You will contribute to the design process, support testing protocols, and help refine manufacturing workflows. This role offers hands-on engineering experience within a professional team environment.
What you'll do#
- Create and post-process 3D prints for product reviews.
- Design and build prototypes along with custom test fixtures.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to submit products for lab testing.
- Conduct tests in the engineering lab and report your findings.
- Analyze lab test results to provide actionable recommendations.
- Modify or create basic engineering models and prints.
- Partner with the manufacturing team to suggest process improvements.
- Handle additional tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited undergraduate Engineering program.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with computers and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage confidential information and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
