About the role#
This is a 16-month co-op position based in Estevan, Saskatchewan. You will support the Integrity Projects department with the planning and execution of projects involving the inspection, evaluation, and repair of liquid pipelines and facilities. You will work alongside engineers to ensure projects meet company objectives.
What you'll do#
- Support project managers with daily tasks.
- Prepare project scopes, designs, cost estimates, and documentation to secure funding.
- Research and summarize codes, standards, and regulations.
- Develop procedures to ensure safe work execution.
- Work with supply chain management to procure necessary materials and services.
- Maintain project schedules, monitor costs, and update forecasts.
- Review quality control packages after construction is finished.
- Plan and implement work following HSE policies and engineering standards.
- Coordinate efforts between internal departments, external consultants, and contractors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Engineering program at a post-secondary institution.
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license and an acceptable driver’s abstract is an asset.
- You must include a copy of your university transcript with your application.
