About the role#
The Human Resources team at Kinaxis partners across the organization to support employees, leaders, and the business. As an HR intern, you will provide administrative, project, and coordination support to the HR Partner, Talent Programs, and Employee Relations functions. This role offers broad exposure to HR programs, processes, and daily practices.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative and coordination support for HR projects, programs, meetings, and day-to-day activities.
- Support Talent Programs, including performance, talent reviews, learning, career development, and leadership initiatives.
- Assist with research, data analysis, reporting, presentations, employee communications, and program materials.
- Support Employee Relations activities through documentation, resources, reporting, and trend analysis.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and improve HR processes and ways of working.
- Maintain HR resources, process documentation, tools, and program materials.
- Work collaboratively across the HR team while independently managing assigned activities and follow-ups.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities.
- High degree of personal integrity and a clear understanding of the importance of maintaining employee confidentiality.
- A curious, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset.
- Comfort working with data and technology, including strong Microsoft Office skills.
- An interest in HR technology and AI.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term, with a duration of 8 or 12 months starting in January 2027.
- The role is based in either the Ottawa or Toronto office. You must be in the office at least three days a week.
- This position is open to co-ops and interns currently enrolled in full-time education or those who have graduated within 12 months of the placement end date.
