About the role#
We are looking for a Finance Intern to report to our Financial Controller. You will gain experience in cloud-based ERP bookkeeping using Oracle NetSuite and apply AI tools like Onyx, Google Gemini, and Anthropic Claude to optimize accounting workflows. This position requires business-fluent proficiency in both Spanish and English to interface with vendors and manage tax documentation across Latin America and Spain.
What you'll do#
- Execute daily transaction postings, process vendor invoices, and assist with accounts payable and receivable management in NetSuite.
- Use AI tools to automate receipt data extraction, build analytical models, and perform variance analyses.
- Support month-end close by reconciling multi-currency bank accounts, corporate credit cards, and ledger schedules.
- Review, validate, and archive regional statutory tax invoices to ensure audit readiness.
- Coordinate with Spanish-speaking vendors and local operational leads to resolve billing inquiries and standardize payment processing.
- Maintain documentation and task tracking using BambooHR, Confluence, Slack, and Google.
What you'll need#
- Final year student or recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance, or a Master's degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounting operations.
- Mandatory business-fluent or native bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite ERP and strong MS Excel skills, including XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Practical experience using Large Language Models and automation platforms for data analysis and formula generation.
- Solid understanding of financial statements, chart of accounts, revenue, COGS, operating expenses, and assets and liabilities.
- Strong numerical reasoning, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a distributed setup.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario.
- Work modality: Hybrid (minimum three days per week in the office).
- Commitment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: CAD 22-30 per hour.
