About the role#
The Campus Operations Coordinator Intern supports the day-to-day operations of our campus program. You will assist with recruitment activities, campus events, intern initiatives, and program administration. This role offers hands-on exposure to recruitment operations, event coordination, and program management.
What you'll do#
- Support campus recruitment activities, including creating job postings, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and managing candidate communications.
- Maintain accurate data within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), as well as reports and program trackers.
- Coordinate logistics for career fairs, university events, and other campus recruiting initiatives.
- Support intern onboarding, engagement activities, and internal events throughout the term.
- Track action items, deadlines, and stakeholder requests to keep projects on schedule.
- Create and maintain process documentation, templates, and administrative resources.
- Assist with special projects related to campus hiring, employer branding, reporting, and program improvement.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the final year of a Commerce or Business degree program, including Human Resource Management courses.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new processes quickly and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
- Strong follow-through, accountability, and the ability to proactively manage tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing deadlines.
- A Major or Minor in HR is an asset.
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is an asset.
- Previous experience coordinating events, projects, interviews, or administrative processes is an asset.
- Experience documenting processes or using AI and productivity tools to improve efficiency is an asset.
Location & details#
- Location: Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You must be in the office at least three days a week.
- Term: Full-time 12-month position starting in January 2027.
- Compensation: $19.46 to $28.55 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
- Eligibility: Open to current students or recent graduates within 12 months of the placement end date.
