About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring a Structural Intern for our Greenwood Village, Colorado office. This is a full-time, on-site role. You will work on structural design efforts for public and private civil infrastructure projects.
What you'll do#
- Analyze, produce, and QC project deliverables using technical software.
- Prepare structural plans, specifications, and estimates for clients.
- Assist project managers with structural design and complex problem solving.
- Collaborate with team members across different disciplines.
- Learn to use software tools including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, RISA-3D, and Excel.
- Build your knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations along with company standards.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
- Your degree program must be ABET accredited.

- Location: Greenwood Village, Colorado.
- This is an on-site position.
- The internship term is rolling.
