About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring a CAD Intern for our Richardson, Texas office. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position with a rolling term. You will work directly with our engineering teams to support drafting needs.
What you'll do#
- Use computer drafting software to create site plans and construction drawings.
- Learn discipline-specific software programs.
- Get familiar with company practices, procedures, and design standards.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in a technical degree program focused on CAD or a relevant field, such as Civil Engineering, Architecture, Graphic Design, or Environmental Engineering.
- Basic working knowledge of CAD.
- A professional attitude and a strong eye for detail.
- The ability to follow directions and work effectively within a team.
