About the role#
Dewberry is looking for a Water/Wastewater Engineering Intern to join our Orlando office for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship where you will work on real projects, gain technical experience, and apply your classroom knowledge to professional tasks.
What you'll do#
- Work on a variety of water and wastewater projects alongside our professional staff.
- Participate in networking events with interns, staff, and senior leaders.
- Attend professional development and career planning workshops.
- Complete a DiSC assessment to learn about your work style and team collaboration.
- Collaborate on a summer-long group project focused on firm strategy.
- Learn about our services, clients, and ongoing projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S. in Civil, Environmental, or a related engineering degree.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with good interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office is preferred.
- Working knowledge of GIS and AutoCAD is a plus.
- Prior experience with water or wastewater utilities is a plus.
