About the role#
KEITH is looking for an intern to join our Landscape Architecture studio in Pompano Beach. You will work alongside landscape architects, arborists, and engineers to create designs for residential, commercial, and urban projects. This is a paid, full-time position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Support the team by following firm standards for design and project execution.
- Join design reviews, project meetings, and brainstorming sessions.
- Create design sketches, sections, illustrative plans, and renderings.
- Interpret land development regulations for specific project requirements.
- Prepare technical drawings for entitlements, site plans, permitting, and construction.
- Assist with tree inventory, analysis, and the creation of arborist reports.
- Conduct on-site landscape inspections and coordinate with contractors.
- Work with our multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated design solutions.
- Represent the firm at meetings and community activities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BLA, BS, or MS program in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Between 0 and 5 years of relevant work experience.
- A positive, self-motivated, and team-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
