K2 Integrity is seeking an Investigations and Disputes intern for the Summer 2026 term. This full-time, paid internship is based on-site at the Washington, D.C. office and offers exposure to professional investigative work.
What you'll do#
- Conduct investigative research utilizing a wide range of open sources.
- Assist in the production of high-quality, detailed reports.
- Deliver verbal briefings to project managers regarding research findings.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and organized records.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the practice.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Criminal Justice, Political Science, Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to contextualize complex topics and draft concise summaries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail, objectivity, and precision.
- Preferred: Prior internship or work experience, particularly in corporate, legal, or government environments.
- Preferred: Experience with public record, financial research, and advanced internet-based research, including social media and deep web searches.
