About the role#
K2 Integrity is seeking a Data Technology intern to support the Financial Crimes Risk Management practice for the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in New York.
What you'll do#
- Collect, clean, and organize datasets for machine learning projects.
- Support data retrieval and preparation for training and testing machine learning models.
- Maintain and update data repositories used for AI model development.
- Convert raw data into structured formats for analysis and automation.
- Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure data integrity.
- Assist with data mapping and workflow automation.
- Contribute to projects involving predictive modeling or feature engineering.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, mathematics, or related fields.
- GPA of 3.5 or higher.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of SQL, including indexes, normalization, schemas, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Preferred skills include familiarity with Python or C#, visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, and an understanding of statistical methods.
