About the role#
This is a part-time student position within the Intelligent Solutions Group. You will work year-round alongside your academic schedule to support data and analytics initiatives. This role requires on-site attendance in Ames, Iowa, Champaign, Illinois, or Austin, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Lead or support analytics projects for the Intelligent Solutions Group.
- Clean, preprocess, explore, and analyze data sets.
- Support advanced automation and sensing projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
- Present findings and translate results into reports and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Agriculture, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Math, Operations Research, or Statistics.
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Available to work 16-20 hours weekly during the academic year.
- Working knowledge of Python and other programming languages.
- School or work experience analyzing text or numerical data.
- Must be a full-time student at a U.S. accredited college or university with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
