About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to start a career in the JLL Capital Markets group. You will work alongside analysts to support investment and acquisition projects. This role offers insight into the commercial real estate industry through research, writing, and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Assist with preparing and writing market research by obtaining and analyzing statistics, demographics, and traffic counts.
- Support the valuation of current and proposed listings using Argus and Excel.
- Review and summarize leases by preparing lease abstracts.
- Assist in the due diligence process for transactions.
- Help design and prepare marketing materials, including teasers and offering memorandums, by creating charts and other graphics.
- Provide general assistance to the team by gathering data on rent rolls, demographics, and tenant profiles.
What you'll need#
- You must be a college or university junior graduating in Summer 2028.
- Permanent US work authorization is required.
- Strong analytical, writing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- You are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently with a team-player attitude.
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop is preferred.
