About the role#
The Community Resources for Stability (CRS) Intern will support the Housing Stability Programs Manager, the CRS Programs and Data Specialist, and the CRS Director. This administrative role focuses on data management, documentation, and process improvement within human services. Interns will gain exposure to database systems, attend team meetings, and learn about organizational policies and procedures.
What you'll do#
- Transfer client paperwork to digital files on SharePoint.
- Update case manager training materials to ensure they reflect current CRS policies and procedures.
- Enter client survey and services information into various databases.
- Collaborate with the CRS team to improve the functionality of the Case Worthy database.
- Set up and manage paper or electronic filing systems, including maintaining records and correspondence.
- Operate office equipment such as copiers and phone systems.
- Assist with other duties as assigned based on program needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited degree program, with a preference for majors in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn client database systems.
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, subject to legally required exemptions.
