About the role#
Jackson EMC is hiring a High School student for a Warehouse Intern position. This role focuses on providing clerical and record-keeping support to the Logistics and Supply Chain department. You will assist the team with daily operations and support the Cooperative during emergency outages.
What you'll do#
- Enter, review, and audit data using accounting software.
- Prepare and update documents, including database records, mailing, and typing.
- Maintain department files and office supply records.
- Coordinate service and maintenance for office equipment.
- Generate monthly reports.
- Participate in the annual meeting.
- Follow safety practices as outlined in the Cooperative Safety Manual.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a partnering high school and its work study program.
- Approval from your program administrator.
- Working knowledge of computer systems and finance, accounting, or risk management practices.
- Ability to scan, proof, file, and reconcile balance sheets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, paid, full-time internship located in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
- The position follows a rolling schedule.
