About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in transportation and logistics. You will work under supervision to learn core management principles and support daily operations. This is a paid, rolling internship based in Atlanta.
What you'll do#
- Assist customers with transportation and logistics services.
- Participate in daily tasks like freight planning, asset utilization, and safety management.
- Handle Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance and driver payroll.
- Engage in logistics analysis, driver supervision, and maintenance coordination.
- Support profit-and-loss management and Customer Value Delivery.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives related to driver retention.
- Complete account-specific tasks and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and work varied hours.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.
