About the role#
This internship provides exposure to transportation management principles within a professional logistics environment. You will work under supervision to support daily operations and gain insight into how the business functions.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily operational tasks including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
- Assist with driver supervision, payroll tasks, and maintenance coordination.
- Perform logistics analysis and participate in Customer Value Delivery.
- Gain an understanding of profit-and-loss management and industry trends related to driver retention.
- Complete account-specific duties and other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to changing priorities.
