About the role#
This is a part-time Operations Internship based in Houston, Texas, for the Winter 2027 term. You will work under supervision to support customers with transportation and logistics services while gaining hands-on experience in the industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily operational tasks, including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support core business functions such as safety management, DOT compliance, and driver payroll.
- Engage in logistics analysis, driver supervision, and maintenance coordination.
- Manage profit-and-loss responsibilities and Customer Value Delivery.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Complete account-specific duties and other assigned tasks as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule.
- Preference for candidates at the Junior or Senior level.
- Capacity to adapt to changing priorities and directives.
