About the role#
This is a part-time internship position based in Dallas, Texas, for the Winter 2027 term. You will work under close supervision to assist with transportation and logistics services for our customers. This role requires 20-25 hours of work per week.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles.
- Participate in daily operational tasks including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management and ensure Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
- Assist with driver payroll, driver supervision, and maintenance coordination.
- Contribute to Customer Value Delivery and logistics analysis.
- Participate in profit-and-loss management.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Perform account-specific duties as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and directives.
- Preference is given to Junior or Senior level students.
