About the role#
The IvyRoots internship connects students with local nonprofit organizations in Madison. You will contribute to community projects while developing professional and leadership skills. This is a paid, part-time position lasting 8 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Support local nonprofit organizations through hands-on service and community engagement.
- Assist with daily operations at your assigned site.
- Support various program activities.
- Maintain accurate records and data.
- Collaborate with staff and volunteers to complete projects.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Ivy Tech student.
- You must be available to work up to 10 hours per week at the designated site.
- Reliability and the ability to take initiative are required.
- Strong communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
Location & details#
- Location: Madison, Indiana.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Schedule: Up to 10 hours per week, with a maximum of 80 hours total.
- Compensation: $15 per hour.
