About the role#
Campus Center Operations Staff provide services to the college community by managing the Information Desk, supervising the Recreation Center, and running the Food Pantry. This role involves physical work and requires staff to be present during early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Manage the Information Desk, handle phone calls, and assist visitors with college and community information.
- Oversee the campus Lost and Found by tracking and retrieving items.
- Supervise the Recreation Center to ensure students use equipment safely.
- Address behaviors that do not comply with facility policies.
- Set up and strike furniture and equipment for events held in the Campus Center.
- Support the Food Pantry by receiving deliveries, restocking shelves, and assisting during open hours.
- Sign visitors into the client portal, train volunteers, and assist with marketing tasks.
What you'll need#
- Ability to take direction and complete tasks independently.
- A positive attitude and enthusiasm for helping the college community.
- Availability to work frequent early mornings, late nights, and weekends.
- Mandatory attendance at weekly staff meetings on Tuesdays at 12:00pm.
