About the role#
Invariant is looking for a Communications and Public Affairs Intern for the winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in New York. You will work on substantive projects that help our clients build their brands while gaining experience in strategic communications.
What you'll do#
- Perform media and social media analysis.
- Research journalists and build media lists.
- Create content for social media channels.
- Identify stakeholders and opportunities for executive placement at conferences or through awards.
- Handle daily tasks that shift based on the needs of the firm.
What you'll need#
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Comfort with social media and online platforms.
- Interest in news, public affairs, or public relations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to your work.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, is a plus.
Location & details#
- This internship is located in New York, New York.
- The term begins on January 11, 2027.
- Compensation is $19 per hour for undergraduate candidates and $24 per hour for graduate candidates.
