About the role#
Invariant is seeking Government Relations Interns for the winter 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Washington, DC. We prioritize mentorship and provide interns with substantive assignments that align with their professional interests.
What you'll do#
Interns support our team by monitoring federal legislation and summarizing congressional hearings. You will draft briefing documents and conduct research to support our work with clients. You will also have the opportunity to interact with clients and congressional staff. Daily tasks change based on the congressional calendar and the needs of the firm.
What you'll need#
We require previous experience with the federal legislative process, such as a congressional internship. You should be able to work collaboratively and communicate effectively. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities under deadlines. We look for individuals who are willing to take initiative.
Location & details#
This position is located in Washington, DC. The term begins on January 11, 2027. Undergraduate candidates receive $19 per hour, and graduate candidates receive $24 per hour.
