Student Intern - Wisconsin South Central (Undergraduate Ministry)

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of college campus ministry. The role is designed to help students grow in spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and ministry leadership skills while discerning a call to service. This position is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college, with specific standing requirements based on the institution type.

What you'll do#

• Participate in the campus ministry team to help cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
• Promote the mission on campus by working to build witnessing communities that are ethnically diverse, bold, and broad.
• Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students, with a focus on outreach to those who do not yet follow Jesus.
• Serve as an ambassador for the organization to churches and ministry partners by discussing ministry efforts, mission, and accomplishments.
• Engage with supervision and training provided by staff ministry trainers.

What you'll need#

• Must be a follower of Jesus Christ and able to annually affirm the organization's Statement of Agreement.
• A developing passion for evangelism.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cultural competence, professionalism, and teamwork.
• Ability to communicate effectively and an eagerness to learn.
