About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the basics of college campus ministry. You will develop your spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and ministry skills while discerning a potential call to service. This position is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college.
What you'll do#
- Participate with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
- Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
- Promote the mission on campus to help build witnessing communities that are bolder and more ethnically diverse.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle in students, with a focus on those who do not yet follow Jesus.
- Serve as an ambassador to ministry partners and churches through prayer and discussion of ministry efforts.
What you'll need#
- You are a follower of Jesus Christ and can annually affirm the InterVarsity Statement of Agreement.
- You have a developing passion for evangelism.
- You demonstrate leadership qualities such as initiative, self-awareness, communication, and professionalism.
- You show cultural awareness, cross-cultural competence, and a readiness to work within a team.
Location & details#
- This role is located in Wisconsin.
- The position is on-site and part-time.
- This is a paid internship. Compensation is funded through personal fundraising, and your salary depends on your ability to secure a donor team to cover the costs.
