About the role#
The Policy & Advocacy Intern will join the US Corporate & Government Partnerships team during the Spring 2027 term. This position supports our ongoing advocacy efforts and policy research. You will report to the Specialist, US Corporate & Government Partnerships. This is an unpaid volunteer role that provides a monthly stipend to help with expenses.
What you'll do#
- Conduct policy research and support various policy-related projects.
- Assist with the execution of advocacy campaigns and event planning.
- Attend congressional hearings and other relevant events in the Washington, D.C. area.
- Manage the Advocacy inbox and respond to constituent inquiries.
- Provide administrative support to the department and the broader team.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least two years of undergraduate study.
- At least one prior professional internship or significant leadership experience.
- Strong research and written communication skills.
- Ability to work 30-40 hours per week during standard business hours.
- A mature orthodox Christian faith, as the work involves daily spiritual disciplines.
- Experience working with government or Congress is preferred.
