About the role#
As a UI/UX Design Intern, you will join our design team to create intuitive and visually engaging digital experiences. This 9-week program provides hands-on experience in a professional environment. You will work under the guidance of a dedicated mentor, take ownership of projects, and gain exposure to FinTech innovation. You will also participate in team-building outings and Lunch & Learn networking sessions.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to the design of user experiences across our mobile, desktop, and web trading applications.
- Create wireframes, workflows, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Assist with design audits, user research, and the creation of digital assets.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, and stakeholders to refine and implement feedback.
- Help deliver a high-quality user experience.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, such as Graphic Design.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2027.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong understanding of visual design principles and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work under deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: Greenwich, Connecticut.
- Term: Summer 2027 (9-week commitment).
- Modality: Full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
