About the role#
This one-year internship provides exposure to manufacturing processes within a plastics facility. You will work as an Electrical or Process Engineer to help maintain product quality and safe equipment operation. This is a full-time, on-site role with a rolling start date.
What you'll do#
- Plan and coordinate production procedures.
- Direct production departments and regulate the press area.
- Introduce efficient production line methods.
- Initiate procedures to increase company output.
- Work on electrical components and assigned engineering projects.
- Prepare reports on budget, production, downtime, and project status.
- Learn project procedures, develop documentation, and build database applications.
- Adhere to all company policies and complete tasks as assigned by the operations manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical or Process Engineering degree program.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Dependable attendance and a willingness to work non-standard hours when needed.
- Ability to manage job-related stress and maintain productive workplace interactions.
