About the role#
Insulet Corporation is seeking an intern to join the Global Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management team for Summer 2027. This role provides hands-on experience in a global medical device company, working alongside professionals to evaluate business processes, assess risks, and analyze data. You will support initiatives that strengthen governance and risk management capabilities while gaining exposure to operational, financial, technology, and compliance functions.
What you'll do#
- Assist with risk-based audits across operational, manufacturing, commercial, corporate, technology, and supply chain functions.
- Participate in process walkthroughs, stakeholder interviews, and documentation of key business processes and controls.
- Perform audit testing and analyze information to evaluate process design and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support enterprise risk assessment, monitoring, and reporting activities.
- Participate in risk workshops and discussions with business stakeholders.
- Document risk mitigation plans and track progress against commitments.
- Analyze business and audit data using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other analytics tools.
- Support continuous auditing and monitoring initiatives through data analysis.
- Identify trends and anomalies to improve processes.
- Explore uses of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies to enhance audit and risk management activities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Quality, Compliance, Information Technology, and Operations partners.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Risk Management, or Data Analytics.
- Undergraduate students completing their junior year and entering their senior year after the internship.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Experience or coursework related to audit, accounting, finance, analytics, or information systems.
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and emerging business technologies.
